I was back in Ohio for the joint baby shower for my friends Kristen & Jenny who are both having girls any day now! While I was back I had to go see the baby elephant, Beco, at the Columbus Zoo. I worked at the zoo for about 9 years, one of those years in the Pachyderm Department, and I miss seeing the elephants and rhinos. One perk of being an ex-employee is that sometimes when I come back to visit I get to go behind the scenes. Jenny and Ryan came with me and we waited in line to see Beco for about 45 minutes. Once we were inside I saw Aaron, who kindly let us come in and I got to take some baby pictures:) As you can see, a very pregnant Jenny also got her picture taken with the baby elephant statute. I also included some fun pictures of the sun bear and some pheasants. I can't wait to come back the next time I'm in town and see how much Beco has grown!
